About Me Link to heading
I’m Artur, and I live in Finland. I’m a doctoral researcher at the University of Turku, studying the effect of plant-based food on human gut, health and metabolism. I’m part of two research groups: Food, gut & nutritional metabolomics and Data Science.
I’m using R for my research. I also know Python, which I use for personal project.
I’m on the board of the Finnish Society For Bioinformatics. My role is to manage and create the website (the new website is a work in progress!).
I’m a community moderator on Dataquest forum, where I select data science projects for the weekly Community Champion challenge. In the past few years, I’ve gone through over 1500 projects.
I like the idea of Infrastructure as Code, so I deploy my homelab nearly automatically. I also run NixOS to deploy my machines in a declarative way.
